I don't know why I feel like posting this image this evening. I do like it though. I like the way things are arranged in the 3 dimensional space. Nothing to do with me of course. I just took a photograph of it. I was originally going to post a version that I'd let Capture One auto white balance for me, but on reflection, anyone who's actually seen this neon sigh on Tottenham Court Road would realise that it isn't pink and turquoise. Often (apart from my decent into black and white photography) I prefer to see the most natural color representation as close to what I saw with my own eyes when shooting the photograph. I'm not a big disney fan.
I bought my first copy of Professional Photographer Magazine this even to read on the train home. To see how the other half live. It's a bit of a thin read for the price and curiously this month's issue (April 2010) is dubbed The Insider Issue. I would have thought every issue would be considered an "insider". Madness. There is a good write up on the new Canon EOS-1D Mark IV. I may never have a good reason to own one, at nearly £5000, I'm not alone in that thinking, but maybe one day I'll pick up a 5D Mark II at a decent price. Unless of course Leica come out with something approaching an affordable digital M Series body.
