I love this first image. If my memory serves me correctly, I was ascending the first escalator from the southbound jubilee line platform at Waterloo on my way to the mainline rail concourse, after an afternoon spent in the area seeing what I could see, and photographing it. Besides the point though. I caught more than I thought I was going to get. I didn't bargain on the man on the far left turning back and the guy hiding his face is, well, interesting. The clarity and shadows from this D-Lux 4 are just amazing. I get a sense of Deja Vu looking at this first photograph. It's almost as if I knew I was going to take it one day, or I've seen this scene before. Strange.
These images are straight from camera as JPEGs. These first 2 shots were taken while riding the underground escalators. It's a new hobbie. All I can say about how this Leica D-Lux 4 shoots black and white is WOW!

I spent about 3 hours shooting this afternoon. I had police as company for a while. I earned myself my second 'Stop and Account' under section 44 of the Terrorism Act for taking photos of a railway bridge close to the purported MI6 building. Personally, I don't for one second believe this to actually be where Britain operate their secret service from. The idea is completely ludicrous. The building is right on the river bank, for god's sake. It's location is probably the least secret thing about Britain's secret service. Unless of course it's a decoy. Hrmm, I wonder. Anyway, this time I knew to ask for a 'Stop and Account' receipt, so I can become a more official member of the "I'm a Photographer, not a Terrorist" site.
