We're Shouting Out
We're Shouting Out - 5.10mm at f/2, ISO 80, Shutter speed 1/400 sec
Hey! I thought I'd process the photograph I took last week and shared with you in JPEG form, straight from my Leica D-Lux 4, with Silver Efex Pro. If you didn't read the original post, "If You Can See The Lights, Shout Out Where You'll Be" you can go back and read it first if you want the background behind this shot.
Anyway, I'm going to keep this very brief because there isn't more of a story to the photograph than what was in my original post. This is really just a comparison of the original JPEG I posted and the work I did this evening on the RAW file that I save with every shot I take on the D-Lux-4. The Silver Efex Pro preset I started with for this photograph is actually the one used to process the photograph in my post Wagamama Surprise. I think I've improved on the preset since then, well at least it's more suited to this exact demand. It's also probably the first preset I've made that I'm actually quite proud of. It's the Ilford Delta 100 Pro film type and the Sepia 17 preset with heavy modification. I've also used quite a few control points to bring out a few of the important details that were getting lost in the shadows. So you might want to just clear the control points in the preset, if it does indeed include them on export. The file for download is at the end of this post.
