I tried out this piece of security software for the Mac tonight. And it's brilliant! Works via bluetooth. All you have to do is pair your iPhone with it, and set the activation range, and you're good to go.

Walk far enough away from your Mac and it locks up your Mac for you. Return, and it magically unlocks it for you. You don't need to press anything, you don't even need to remember you've got it installed and switched on. It's as seamless as you can get, and fits in well with the Apple philosophy.

I've often wondered how much I've spent on iPhone Apps over the last year and a bit. While I know I've got 259 in my iTunes App section, I have no idea how many were free, and how many cost me the odd buck or three. Now I know! This cool piece of software, written for the Mac breaks down and totals up how much you've spent over the life of your iTunes account. I've spent £160 on Apps on the App Store to date. No regrets, and I really thought it would have been higher.
